INDEPENDENTLY CREATED, SUPPORTED & DISTRIBUTED THANKS TO YOU...
After three years of production, post and screenings, we're really excited to finally make this important film available to the public. After we premiered TOWER TO THE PEOPLE in the Grand Ballroom of the New Yorker Hotel (where Nikola Tesla held his annual birthday press conferences) we had so many wonderful people asking when the film would be available on dvd. It was a fantastic SRO event that was attended by such amazing people like director Jim Jarmusch, artist Robert Wilson, the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia and even Nikola Telsla's last remaining close relative, grandnephew William Terbo. Since then TOWER TO THE PEOPLE has played independently to packed houses throughout New York, Toronto, Belgrade and just recently finished a week-long run at the historic Crest Theater in Los Angeles. And whenever we screened the film, enthusiastic theater-goers would continually ask the same question; "When does the dvd come out?"
Being independent filmmakers, we had spent every cent on completing the film, and though we were able to play the final cut from a computer, we didn't have a physical copy to distribute. In other words, even though we had a finished film it wasn't really finished. We needed to have it encoded, authored and manufactured. To complete this final stage, we launched a crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo and thanks to so many generous people, we reached our goal.
The new question we are continually asked is in regard to one of the perks we created for the campaign.
After we sold out of our popular $333 TESLA'S DREAM perk, which came with a beautiful crystal Wardenclyffe Tower, we received so many requests to make it available again. However, some of the items offered with it, like a name in the credits of the film, had a finite window of availability. We're happy to announce that we've created a scaled-down version of the original offering called the TESLA'S DREAM COLLECTOR SET. With all the initial setup costs completed, and because this version doesn't include a name in the credits, a digital download, signed dvd cover art or signed film still, we have been able to make it more affordable to the community at large. We are pleased to offer this magnificent scaled-down set at more than a hundred dollars off the original version! We hope this makes it more accessible for Tesla enthusiasts worldwide.
